My wonderful husband is in the United States Air Force, but we'll get to him later.
I'm a proud New Mexican, and not only is New Mexico part of the United States (thankyouverymuch), but it's a fantastic place to grow up and live; we can't wait to move back there some day. I love bragging about "The Land of Enchantment," because I've lived and traveled around the world and can honestly say there's absolutely no place like home.
Home.
Speaking of home, that's where I met my husband. We met on New Year's Eve in 2006 and endured a long-distance relationship for four years. Even though we grew up living 10 minutes from each other, we didn't meet until he was already in the Air Force and stationed in Florida. How's that for timing?
We traveled thousands of miles to see each other over the years and he finally popped The Question on Valentine's Day 2009. After a year-long engagement—you can read alllllll about the wedding here—we had an absolutely perfect wedding.
Here's where things get fun! We recently moved—thanks to the Air Force—from peach country, aka, Georgia to Italy! I'm still pinching myself multiple times a day to make sure this isn't a dream.
During the day I'm a stay-at-home wife and freelance writer (find me around the web here). I love cupcakes, spicy food, potato chips, chick flicks, cooking, and snail mail. I dislike, pumpkin, sweet tea and humidity very, very much.
Oh, and you know the saying "First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage"? Yeah, we know that saying, too. But until we're ready to have little ones of our own, we're happy taking care of our sweet little dog, Bella
