You should add Slovenia to the list. It's an awesome country. Lots of history, beautiful scenery, cheap and delish food. What's not to like?
Dachau Concentration Camp in Munich
Regensburg Thurns und Taxis (an actual princess still lives there)
Nurnberg Marketplatz (and Nurnberg in general, lots to do there)
Be sure not to eat prior to Dachau if you do go, and I had a blast at Baden Baden in Germany. I also see that you are very refined, but if you are up for some outdoor adventure - you need to visit Interlaken, Switzerland. My wife and I went whitewater rafting and spelunking. I also had the best time with the nomadic 19-24 yr olds that were living what we were just getting a taste of that summer. I really appreciate your need to blog and share. It is a refreshing time for me to read this and relive times before my wife and I had family responsibilities - Thank you.
